Colleen Oswald

Senior Designer/Owner

Colleen has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Education degree, as well the Residential Interior coursework from both the University of Alberta and Metro Community College. Colleen opened and incorporated Interior Matters Inc. in 2000. She is a published writer and public speaker and educator in the area of interior design and interior decorating. She has written design articles for the Edmonton Journal, and was a regular columnist for the Sherwood Park News. She has also written articles for Benjamin Moore and has been a featured interior design guest on Global TV. She is known for her design bluntness tempered with the ultimate design goal of giving her clients the most beautiful spaces possible.

Elan Anselmo

Intermediate Design Consultant

Elan is a distinguished graduate of the University of Alberta Residential Interiors Program. She has been with us for 6 years now and has earned the term the “organized one”. She is calm, cool, collected and very detailed oriented with her clients.  She is "the rock" of our team. She is a drapery specialist - combining all elements of your home - colour, furniture, finishes  to one beautiful ending.  She is also our in house seamstress – crafting the most beautiful custom bedding and pillows.  She loves fabric; I mean she REALLY loves fabric. She makes her clients feel very comfortable while gently guiding them to the best design possible!

Melissa Black

Intermediate Designer

Melissa is a invaluable member of our design team,  joining us in 2015. She is a graduate from the University of Alberta’s Residential Interior Design program and brings a vivacious and enthusiastic approach to design. Melissa works closely with both residential and commercial clients to help create meaningful and beautiful functional spaces. She is an attentive, creative and  innovative interior design specialist. She is also our in-house drawing specialist - bringing your dreams to paper before completion.

Ashley Antonio

Junior Designer

Ashley is the newest member of our design team. She is a graduate of the University of Alberta's Residential Interiors program and has been working in the design/retail field for some time.  She has extensive experience in Fashion Retail Management and is incredibly customer service driven.  She is a self proclaimed people person and loves discovering how to best help the clients in her charge.  Working with clients is hands down the favorite part of her job. She has a keen sense of design and is continually researching the latest design trends and movements.   She is also our virtual interior design consultant expert!
